Chemica Alta Ltd. is a Canadian company serving the scientific community in North America and Internationally since 1991.

Our objective is to provide life sciences chemical supplies at attractive prices, with knowledgeable representatives who can work with scientists to understand their problems, advise them about solutions and provide them with the highest quality of service and support.

In partnership with our customers and suppliers, we source often difficult to obtain research chemicals, either by manufacture on our own or in partnership with long established associated companies and suppliers. We serve the medical, research, educational and private sector industries. In doing this we provide value to our customers, employees, investors, and society in a safe and fair way while aiding in maintaining supply chains and helping the development of new products.

Chemica Alta Ltd., often referred to as Chemica, was first founded in 1991. The founders, having long experience in the laboratory supply and specialty chemical manufacturing industry, saw a need for reliable North American production of a variety of new materials.

Chemica has since developed relationships, particularly with suppliers in North America and Eastern Europe, to be able to reliably supply difficult to source research and specialty chemicals. We maintain warehouses in Canada and the United States for those products we keep in stock.

In the United States the Chemica Alta Ltd. business is fulfilled through an Ohio based sister company, Rose Scientific Inc.
